Key Considerations for the Reserve

This reserve is a narrow coastal reserve and contains the eastern edge of part of a heritage listed item under the Wollongong 2009 LEP (Local Landscape Item 6204 – Bellambi Lake and Sandpit Point) which is explained as part of information on Reserve number 180029 Bellambi Lagoon. Within this narrow reserve (88075) is all or part of the following:

  • Bellambi Surf Life Saving Club
  • Boat Harbour
  • Outdoor BBQ facilities
  • Signpost
  • Bins
  • Sidewalk
  • Parking area
  • Playground
  • Grass lawn

At its meeting of 22 May 2019, Council’s Aboriginal Reference Group identified this reserve as important and for Council to continue to talk with the Aboriginal community about this land.
