What is a Master Plan and why do we need one for Corrimal Heated Pool?
A Master Plan gathers the community vision for a recreational space and uses this information to development a concept design.
The Future of Our Pools Strategy 2014 identified priorities for aquatic provision in the community.
One of the key priority actions in the strategy was to prepare a Master Plan for Corrimal Heated Pool to inform future redevelopment of this recreation facility.

Who will make the final decisions and how will the Draft Concept Master Plan be implemented?
To develop the Draft Concept Master Plan, Council will review community feedback taking into consideration community priorities, costing of the options and future capital budgets.
Once a Draft Concept Master Plan for Corrimal Heated Pool is developed, it will be placed on exhibition and the community will have the opportunity to provide further comments.
Council will review any further comments on the Draft Plan before endorsing a final Corrimal Heated Pool Master Plan.
Once Council adopts a final Plan, funding allocations can be considered in Council’s annual planning process. This may involve staged and prioritised implementation of the Plan over a 10+ year period according to available Council budget and external funding that can be sourced.
