Key Considerations for the Reserve
This reserve covers 304,524.36 sqm and there is no official entrance into the reserve. The site is extremely steep, very hard to navigate, dangerous to walk through with no proper paths. As with areas of bushland throughout the LGA people have treated the area as a dumping ground from time to time. The reserve is not declared to be ‘Critical Habitat’ or land directly affected by a Recovery Plan. However, the following may be present as noted below. EECs: MU20 – Southern Sydney Sheltered Forest, MU2 - Southern Sydney Sheltered Forest, MU16 - Southern Sydney Sheltered Forest, MU56d - Southern Sydney Sheltered Forest. The Gang Gang Cockatoo (threatened fauna).
