Kully Bay and Minnegang Creek Flood Studies
Consultation has concluded
Have you been flooded where you work or live? Do you have information on flood heights?
Wollongong City Council is doing a flood study for the catchment area that flows into Kully Bay, on the shores of Lake Illawarra. This area includes the Warrawong CBD and surrounding residential areas.
We are also doing a flood study for the Minnegang Creek catchment which goes across parts of Lake Heights and Warrawong.
The flood studies are done to gather information about flood heights and behaviour to assist with managing flood risk to people, property and infrastructure.
You can read more about the studies in the community updates(External link) and view the map(External link) of the catchment areas.
