Community feedback and works update

We recently asked the community for feedback on the proposed bike track for Dimond Bros Reserve, Horsley. We shared the concept plan with you in September and received lots of feedback via the online survey, emails and the online information session.

Our community had lots of ideas and feedback. To see how we have incorporated your ideas, take a look at the engagement snapshot.

We’ll start building the track very soon. You’ll see some temporary fencing go up and dirt delivered to the park from Monday 25th October 2021. We expect the track will be ready to ride by December., You’ll still be able to enjoy all the other areas of the park while we’re building the track.

While we were hoping to work with local young people and families to build the tracks, we won’t be able to due to current restrictions. We’re really keen to work with you in the future to maintain the track and we’ll let you know when we can have a community dig day.
