Consultation has concluded
On 14 September 2015 Council resolved to prepare a draft Section 94 Development Contribution Plan for Calderwood Urban Release.
The draft Plan is to establish a mechanism under the Environment Planning and Assessment Act 1979 to enable Council to seek contribution from the development of the area towards the costs of enhancing community infrastructure including open space, pedestrian and cycle links, playgrounds, roads, bridges, stormwater management drainage facilities and administration costs.
The draft Calderwood Section 94 Plan (the draft Plan) provides a list of all the projects that will be funded through the plan. These projects are centred around road infrastructure needs for the increase in population. The draft Plan would replace the current means of the Section 94A Development Contribution Plan applying to other areas within the LGA.
