Consultation has concluded
Planning is underway to install CCTV cameras to enhance the safety of users of the Tramway Shared Path and Continental Pool. It will also protect public assets and deter criminal activity and anti-social behaviour. An initial crime assessment has been undertaken which supports the installation of cameras and consultation with Council's Community Safety Reference Group has occurred.
We would now like to hear broader community views on our plans.
Read the FAQ for more details on how the CCTV would operate, and view the map showing the area to be monitored In the Document Library.
The installation of CCTV is being made in compliance with Council’s CCTV Policy and Code of Practice. The Policy is available in the Document Library.
