Consultation has concluded
The Community Participation Plan (CPP) explains how we’ll engage with the community on planning matters. All Councils are required to prepare a CPP. It replaces our current notification policy - Appendix 1 Public Notification and Advertising Procedures(External link) of the Wollongong Development Control Plan 2009 – which currently explains how Council exhibits development applications (DAs).

You can review and share feedback on the Community Participation Plan from 25 September 2019 to 23 October 2019. We are interested in hearing the community’s thoughts on the new plan, and all submissions received during the exhibition will be reviewed. Following this, a report summarising feedback will be prepared and presented to Council. The draft plan will also be updated to include any necessary changes that were identified during the exhibition.
