Engagement Findings from Phase 1 - Update December 2024
Thank you to everyone who participated in phase 1 of the engagement with our community on proposed changes around Helensburgh Train Station.
About the project
The community in Helensburgh was being asked to share their thoughts on proposed footpath improvements along Wilsons Creek Road, and a refuge island on Tunnel Road.
There were 28 submissions made in relation to the proposed works in both Wilsons Creek Road and Tunnel Road.
Question 1: Do you agree that this plan will improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists on Tunnel Road and Wilsons Creek Road, and lead to better access of Helensburgh Train Station?
Question 2: What do you think about the proposed improvements to the footpath along Wilsons Creek Road?
Question 3: What do you think about the proposed location of a pedestrian refuge island on Tunnel Road?
If you would like to understand the feedback in more detail, you can read the complete Engagement Report for this, and the 6 other train stations included in this project.
