Consultation has concluded

We’ve been committed to diversity and inclusion for many years and we’re proud of what we’ve achieved so far!

Examples of our ongoing work include providing all ability playgrounds; incorporating child and age-friendly principles in design; delivering programs for young people, LGBTQI activities, Reconciliation and NAIDOC events, story time program and Refugee Week celebrations.

We aspire to have a positive impact on our community. We know that diversity and inclusion is important to you. Your ongoing feedback has helped us to develop our Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Policy (the Policy).

This Policy will guide the services Council provides for the community and how we’ll shape and support our workplace in the delivery of those services. It’s the combination of diversity, inclusion and belonging that will enable the creation of an extraordinary place to live, work and play.
