Consultation has concluded

At its meeting on 12 December 2022, Council resolved to exhibit the Draft Planning Agreements Policy (the draft Policy) to seek community comment.

The draft Policy is the regular review of the current adopted Planning Agreements Policy which was adopted in 2020. The review includes minor updates and clarifications.

Following exhibition and consideration of any submissions, the draft Policy will be updated to incorporate any relevant post exhibition amendments.

You can have a look at the draft Policy at:

  • Council's Customer Service Centre, Ground Floor Administration Building, 41 Burelli Street Wollongong, between 9am and 5pm weekdays.
  • Any Wollongong Cities library during opening hours.
  • Council's engagement site Our Wollongong

The draft Policy is on exhibition from Tuesday 20 December 2022 to Friday 3 February 2023.

Submissions must be made in writing and addressed to: The General Manager, Wollongong City Council, Locked Bag 8821, Wollongong NSW 2500, or emailed to council@wollongong.nsw.gov.au.

All submissions must be received by Friday 3 February 2023. Please quote “Planning Agreements Policy Review 2022”.

Please note that submissions become public documents and may be viewed by other persons on request. You should also obtain this information if you are legally required to disclose a reportable political donation or gift.
