Draft Planning Proposal
105, 109 & 141 Darkes Road, Lots 4 & 201 West Dapto Road, 150 & 160 Sheaffes Road, 70 Paynes Road KEMBLA GRANGE
202 & 204 Sheaffes Road DOMBARTON

The above land is subject to a draft Planning Proposal that forms two Neighbourhood Precincts within the West Dapto Urban Release Area. The draft Planning Proposal seeks to amend Wollongong Local Environmental Plan 2009 to facilitate the development of the land. Wollongong City Council is seeking the following changes:

  • Rezone land within the two precincts in order to protect important ecological communities and to maximise the potential developable land for residential purposes (Refer to images 1 & 2 below)
  • Make corresponding changes to the Minimum Lot Size, Floor Space Ratio and Maximum Building Height Maps in accordance with the amended zone boundaries (Refer to maps within Department of Planning & Environment Draft Report)
  • Amend the Heritage Map by altering the existing curtilage surrounding item No. 5976 the “Stan Dyke” homestead and outbuildings (refer to maps within Department of Planning & Environment Draft Report).

The Planning Proposal is on exhibition between 26/08/2014 and 26/09/2014.
