Consultation has concluded

We have developed a draft policy to provide for the establishment of electric vehicle charging stations on public land.

Installing charging stations on public land will provide increased public access to charging infrastructure, encouraging the uptake of electric vehicles.

The policy seeks to ensure that stations are safe, well managed, accessible and efficient asset for the community. The draft policy sets out Council’s requirements and expectations for potential providers of charging stations.

For more detail read the policy, and Council report in the Document Library.
