We’ve reviewed our Community Engagement Policy and developed a draft version, which is now on public exhibition.

We'd like your feedback on the draft Policy, which will then be reviewed, updated and presented to Council for endorsement.

Background:

The draft Policy builds on previous versions endorsed by Council. The existing Policy was endorsed by Council in July 2018.

The Policy outlines our commitment to engagement, the process for undertaking engagement and feedback with the community and the role of staff and Councillors in applying the policy.

The Policy applies to Councillors, staff, volunteers, contractors and consultants.

The draft Policy has been developed following initial feedback from key stakeholders.

Please view the draft Community Engagement Policy 2021 in the documents section.

How to provide feedback:

Comments are due by Friday 11 June 2021.
