Wollongong Development Control Plan 2009 – Chapter D16 West Dapto Release Area contains specific development controls to guide future urban development in the West Dapto Release Area and supplements the standard provisions contained in the Development Control Plan. Chapter D16 requires that a Neighbourhood Plan be prepared and adopted by Council, as an amendment to Chapter D16, to guide development within the specified neighbourhood/precinct. Council is seeking feedback on the draft Neighbourhood Plan which has been submitted for land fronting Darkes and West Dapto Roads, Kembla Grange.
The draft Neighbourhood Plan is on exhibition between 30 November 2013 and 31 January 2014.
Copies of the Plan can be downloaded from this page or viewed at:
Wollongong Central, Dapto and Unanderra libraries during library hours
Council’s Administration Building, 41 Burelli Street Wollongong on weekdays between 9am and 5pm.
Prior to Council determining whether to adopt a neighbourhood plan, Council is seeking community comment. If you have any comments it would be appreciated if they could be forwarded to Council by 31 January 2014.
