We know that young people and families love riding bike tracks in the local area, which is why we’re planning on building a new bike track in Anama St Reserve in Fairy Meadow.

There are lots of informal tracks around and along the Cabbage Tree Creek line which are causing damage to the natural environment. We want you to have fun on your bikes, but we want it to be safe and also make sure we are protecting the plants and bush land in the area.

Last year, we worked with young bike riders and their families in Figtree on a trial project to design and build a dirt bike track. We learnt lots about designing and building pump tracks with the community during that trial. The track has been a big hit with local bike riders, so we are now looking to do a similar project here.

We’ve developed some concept plans for the site, that include beginner and advanced tracks and we’re really keen to hear your thoughts on the design.
