Community Engagement Update June 2021

At the end of 2020 we worked with local children, young people and families to design and build a trial bike track at Harry Graham Park. This trial track has been very popular so far, with lots of people using it. To help plan what happens next, we asked the community for feedback on how it’s been going and to help find the most appropriate location for a permanent track in Figtree.

We asked for feedback on the current location at Harry Graham Park and an alternative site at Langson Avenue Reserve.

We held information sessions at the current site during May 2021 where staff attended to talk about the project and get feedback from local people. We had maps at these information sessions and invited people to tell us what they thought. We also invited comments via an online survey and mapping tool.

We asked the community to send us their feedback by Monday 14 June 2021.

We are currently reviewing feedback and other information to consider a permanent location for the bike track.
