Consultation has concluded

Coinciding with the announcement of the site for the new library and community centre in Helensburgh, we are also sharing an update on the currently closed community centre.

From 2025, the portion of the centre that directly fronts Walker Street will be known as Helensburgh Community Rooms and will reopen temporarily to provide two (2) additional meeting spaces and an office for community hire.

In accordance with Section 610F of the Local Government Act 1993, twenty-eight (28) days’ notice is now given that it is proposed to approve the fees and charges for the hire of the Centre.

We have developed a schedule of proposed hire fees and are asking for any feedback you may have. The fees are in line with what we charge at similar community facilities.

Responses received on the proposed fees will be presented to Council for their consideration prior to adoption of the fees.
