"I love Wollongong because..." FAQs

We are encouraging people to get creative! Entries can be photography, text, visual art or short film. 

It’s important that anything you enter is your own.

Entries may be used in ‘Our Wollongong 2032’ Community Strategic Plan. They may be printed on posters and displayed at local libraries, events or facilities to encourage people to provide their ideas for ‘Our Wollongong 2032’ Community Strategic Plan.  They may also be used on Councils website and on social media channels.

Winners will receive one of ten $100 Visa prepaid gift cards.

Two winners will be randomly drawn each week for five weeks from 26 July 2021. Entries will carry over, so the earlier you enter the more chances you’ll have to win.

You can submit your entry in any of the following ways:

• In person - you can drop your entry at our Customer Service desk at the Council Administration Building, your local library or Wollongong Youth Centre
