We’re planning to construct a new steel truss bridge on Point St, Bulli. We’ve prepared designs for a complete shareway bridge over the railway, which will replace the existing deteriorating bridge. The new bridge will be 3m wide to ensure it's consistent with our active transport network strategy.
We’re expecting to start this within the next 12 months, with works continuing for approximately 3-4 months. As construction will be taking place in the rail corridor, we’ll be working with Transport for NSW (TfNSW) to determine the exact dates.
During the construction period, you'll see a construction work crew, their vehicles and equipment in the area. The work crew will aim to minimise disruption, however there may be some traffic control requirements at times.
Before we start these works, will get in touch with the local residents to let you know what dates we'll be onsite.
We'll also provide updates on this page.
