Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on LinkedinEmail this link
Consultation has concluded
Council received a submission on behalf of the owner of 71 Lower Coast Road, Stanwell Park, seeking a rezoning of the site from E2 Environmental Conservation to E4 Environmental Living to enable a dwelling house to be erected upon the site.
Council has chosen to include 69 and 73 Lower Coast Road (also zoned E2 Environmental Conservation) as part of the planning proposal rather than consider one allotment in isolation. Council is now undertaking preliminary notification, seeking initial comments in relation to the draft Planning Proposal.
Submissions on the proposal will be used to assist Council in formulating a preliminary report to be considered at a later date. Should Council resolve to progress the draft Planning Proposal a formal exhibition will follow.
The draft Planning Proposal seeks to rezone 69, 71 and 73 Lower Coast Road to E4 Environmental Living to permit a dwelling house to be constructed on these sites (subject to development consent).
The draft Planning Proposal is on preliminary notification between 17 March 2014 and 31 March 2014.
The full proposal can be downloaded on the right of this page or copies can be viewed at Wollongong, Thirroul and Helensburgh Libraries during library hours.
To make a submission, email Council at records@wollongong.nsw.gov.au or write to:
The General Manager Wollongong City Council Locked Bag 8821 WOLLONGONG DC NSW 2500
before the submission period closes on 31 March 2014.
Please call Land Use Planning on (02) 4227 7631 if you require any further information on the draft planning proposal.
