Consultation has concluded
Council resolved on 28 August 2023 to place on public exhibition an updated Chapter C17 – Telecommunications and Radiocommunications Facilities of the Wollongong Development Control Plan (WDCP) 2009(External link).
What is the purpose of this Chapter of the Wollongong Development Control Plan (WDCP) 2009?
To provide development controls applicable to the design, siting, construction, safety, security and environmental and public health impacts of telecommunications and radiocommunications facilities, including broadcasting infrastructure.
The draft revised WDCP 2009 Chapter 17 is on exhibition from Monday 18 September to Monday 16 October 2023 and can be viewed:
- At all Wollongong City Libraries(External link) during opening hours
- At Council’s Customer Service Centre, Ground Floor Administration Building, 41 Burelli Street Wollongong, between 9am and 5pm weekdays
- Online via the Document Library
