Consultation has concluded
Council resolved on 2 August 2021 to place on public exhibition an updated draft Chapter E23 - Riparian Land Management of the Wollongong Development Control Plan (WDCP) 2009.
The purpose of WDCP 2009 Chapter E23 Riparian Land Management is to provide Council’s requirements for development to minimise any adverse impact on riparian lands as a result of development. This includes development on land in or adjacent to mapped watercourses, and development which involves watercourse crossings.
The exhibition period for this draft WDCP 2009 Chapter is 16 August to 13 September 2021.
Hard copies of the documents
If the Wollongong Local Government Area comes out of lock-down during the public exhibition period, copies of the suite of documents can be viewed at:
All Wollongong libraries during library hours (subject to Covid restrictions);
Council’s Customer Service Centre, Ground Floor Administration Building, 41 Burelli Street Wollongong on weekdays between 9am and 5pm (subject to Covid restrictions);
