Wollongong DCP Draft Chapter E1: Access for People with a Disability

Consultation has concluded

Council resolved on 15 March 2021 to exhibit the draft Chapter E1: Access for People with a Disability of the Wollongong Development Control Plan (WDCP) 2009.

This chapter outlines the statutory framework and the legislated requirements for providing access for people with a disability when carrying out certain types of development. The Chapter has been updated to in line with current legislation, best practice and existing Council policies.

It applies to the whole of the Wollongong Local Government Area. The draft chapter, if made, would amend the above-mentioned WDCP.

The draft Chapter will be on public exhibition for a minimum period of 28 days. It can be viewed at:

  • Wollongong Library and branches, during library hours
  • Council Administration Building 41 Burelli Street Wollongong between 9am and 5pm weekdays.
  • On the Documents section of this page
