Draft WDCP 2009 Chapter C3 Boarding Houses and Schedule 1 of Chapter E3 Car Parking Access Servicing/Loading Facilities

Consultation has concluded

Council resolved on 23 May 2022 to exhibit the draft Chapter C3 Boarding Houses and Schedule 1 of Chapter E3: Car Parking, Access Servicing/Loading Facilities and Traffic Management of the Wollongong Development Control Plan (WDCP) 2009.

These chapters outline the requirements when carrying out development for a Boarding House. Chapter C3 and Schedule 1 of Chapter E3 have been updated to bring the documents in line with current legislation, environmental planning instruments, recognised best practice and existing Council policies.

Chapter C3 and Schedule 1 of Chapter E3 apply to the whole of the Wollongong Local Government Area and if adopted, would amend the above-mentioned WDCP.

The draft Chapter C3 and Schedule 1 of Chapter E3 will be on public exhibition for a minimum period of 28 days. It can be viewed at:

  • Wollongong Library and branches, during library hours
  • Council Administration Building 41 Burelli Street Wollongong between 9am and 5pm weekdays.
  • www.our.wollongong.nsw.gov.au

Submissions can be made in the following ways:
