Consultation has concluded
Wollongong City Council’s Economic Development team invites local business operators in the Wollongong Local Government Area (LGA) to complete our 2024 Wollongong Business Survey.
Wollongong has a large and vibrant business community. As of June 2023, there were more than 15,400 actively trading businesses in Wollongong LGA, the vast majority being small to medium enterprises.
In 2019, Council adopted its Economic Development Strategy 2019-29 with a central objective to grow 10,500 net new jobs in Wollongong LGA by 2028. A critical pillar of the Strategy is providing support for our small businesses acknowledging their importance in growing local jobs across a range of key sectors.
The results of this survey will be compared with Council’s previous business survey in 2022 and will help Council to further understand how businesses operate, update on current business conditions and inform our forthcoming review of the Economic Development Strategy.
This survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete
If you have any questions or would like to request an accessible copy of this survey, please contact Economic Development at economicdevelopment@wollongong.nsw.gov.au
Please complete the survey by 5.00pm on Monday 16 September 2024. Any submissions become public documents and may be viewed by other persons on request. Please read Council's Privacy Policybefore submitting your responses.
