Works update 28 June 2021

Covid-19 Update

Council provides essential services to the community including our civil works. Works will continue at Wongawilli in compliance with the updated Covid-19 Public Health Order. However, some of our other services will be changed temporarily due to Covid-19.

Shone Avenue to Smiths Lane

New temporary road access: Last Friday Boral completed asphalt works to the new pavement alignment at the culverts and traffic switched over under traffic control. Electronic signage will remain in place for a week while motorists and residents get used to the changes.

Culvert works: This week Cadifern will access the site at the culverts to start drainage works with connections to trunk drainage and culvert cells.

Driveway, stormwater and kerb and gutter works: This week Council crews will vacate the culverts site and focus on the construction of kerb and gutter, driveways and stormwater pits between Shone Avenue and Smiths Lane.

Jersey Farm Road

Jersey Farm Road opened to traffic following last week's asphalt works undertaken by Boral.
