Do you like to use your imagination? Love listening to live music and going to concerts? Are you an artist, performer or slam poet? Do you feel connected to your community? Would you like to develop your creativity?

WE SEEK YOUR FEEDBACK AND ADVICE!

Wollongong City Council is developing a new cultural plan. A cultural plan guides Council when it has to make decisions about cultural and arts resources.

When we think about culture we are talking about all the ways we as individuals and as part of the community express and communicate who we are, our attitudes and beliefs. Culture gives meaning to our cultural and ethnic backgrounds and our way of life. Examples of culture include celebrations, art, language, architecture, history and heritage, religious and spiritual beliefs, fashion and food.

Do you think there needs to be different types of cultural activities for people, professional development for the arts sector, or digital media workshops or, is there something else? Please tell us.

Please take a moment to complete the survey(External link) and add your thoughts to the discussion forum(External link) help us think about the arts and cultural future for the people of Wollongong.
