Consultation has concluded
Council would like to present its plans for refurbishment of the amenities building, located next to the tidal rock pool at Austinmer Beach. The current building has become dilapidated and doesn't provide accessible facilities for residents and visitors.
The planned works include repair of the existing front facade, a new concrete roof, repair of the existing internal columns and retaining wall. The interior of the building will be a new fit out, including accessible toilets, showers and baby change tables.
You can view the plans for the refurbishment in the Document Library and read the FAQs for more information.
We are holding a drop in information session at Austinmer Beach in front of the Amenities Building on Saturday 14th October from 10.30am -12.30pm. Come along to view the plans and talk to Council staff.
You can also use our on-line feedback form below.
Plans and feedback forms are also available at the Thirroul Library.
