Bike Track at Bulli Park

We recently asked the community for feedback on three sites for a bike track in Bulli/Woonona. The community had lots of ideas and feedback. They told us what they liked about the different sites and also shared their local knowledge on the locations. We’ve reviewed all the feedback and decided to build the track at Bulli Park.

To see how we have incorporated your feedback into our decision, take a look at the community feedback summary.

Your Feedback on Track Design

We’re holding two online information sessions for people who are keen to be involved in the track design at Bulli Park. At these sessions, we’ll have the design consultant there to incorporate your feedback into the final design of the beginner and intermediate track. The numbers are limited, so please register to attend by clicking on one of the times below. Each session will cover the same information, please register for one only.

Building the Track

We are planning to start work on the track at the end of November. You’ll see works commence from Monday 22 November. We expect the track will be ready to ride before Christmas. During construction, access to some parts of the park will be restricted.

While we were hoping to work with local young people and families to build the tracks, we won’t be able to due to current restrictions. We’re really keen to work with you in the future to maintain the track and we’ll let you know when we can have a community dig day.

Got questions?

If you've got any questions about the project, you can email engagement@wollongong.nsw.gov.au or phone Megan from the Engagement team on (02) 4227 7111.

We recently held online sessions about track design and used this feedback and our survey information to finalise the designs for Bulli Park Bike Track. The concept images can be viewed in the documents library on this page.

Iconic Trails are onsite this week to start building the track. Provided the weather holds up, we expect the track to be finished in time to ride at Christmas. We will post updates on this page.
