Does having CCTV in the CBD make your feel safer?

Closed circuit television (CCTV) is used in some public spaces across our city to reduce and prevent crime and enhance community safety, in line with our Community Safety Plan.

We believe keeping the community safe is a priority. That's why Council funds the installation, operation and upkeep of the CCTV network. We also regularly evaluate the CCTV network. Part of that evaluation includes asking the community and businesses if they feel safer in the areas covered by CCTV.

Share your thoughts on CCTV in the CBD
