Consultation has concluded

In late 2021, the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 introduced an ability for Councils to recover the costs associated with issuing a notice and order, to those found to be non-compliant.

Compliance Cost Notice Charge - Proposal

Wollongong City Council are proposing to introduce a Compliance Cost Notice charge, so Council can recover costs associated with investigating non-compliance matters that result in an order being issued.
