Consultation has concluded. Please watch the Council website for updates about this policy.

The Community Recognition Program reflects Council's commitment to recognition of people and groups with outstanding achievement or service to the community. Earlier this year Council endorsed that the Community Recognition Program, adopted in 2005, be reviewed.

The outcome of that review was to update the policy. The draft Policy seeks to provide guidelines and criteria for how individuals, groups and organisations can be recognised for their service to the community and/or outstanding achievements in their chosen field.
