Consultation has concluded

Our community told us they wanted Wollongong’s CBD to feel more creative and connected across its many precincts.

The CBD Creative Wayfinding program aims to contribute to this, using signage and creative elements to create more connected and engaging spaces in the CBD.

As part of this program, we're planning to install some creative signage and seating in Globe Lane.

The project design needs to respond to a range of considerations, including:

  • a response to the site, visually and thematically
  • reflects and celebrates the lane's unique identity
  • visually activates and energises the area
  • welcomes visitors
  • considers both daytime and night-time visitor experience
  • complements existing physical and operational environment
  • explores a range of forms and shapes for the signage and seats.

We invite your input to help us understand how you see and use Globe Lane to help inform the project.
