Consultation has concluded

The Libraries and Community Services team are looking at ways to increase the access that the community have to Helensburgh Library.

We've heard that you would like to be able to visit the library at times more convenient to you and now we are looking at how we can make that happen. We are proposing changes to the opening hours of Helensburgh Library, and also thinking about different ways that the community may be able to access the library after hours.

What will change?

The changes are as follows:

  • The library will open at 9:30am Monday - Saturday.
  • The library will remain open across the lunch break (1-2pm) each week day.
  • The library will close at 5pm on all weekdays.
  • The library will remain closed on Sundays.

There is a small increase in opening hours across the week. You can compare the current opening hours with the proposed opening hours in this table:
