A Neighbourhood Forum is a community group, independent from Council, that meets monthly to discuss local issues.

Council supports Neighbourhood Forums through venue hire and actively engages with them on relevant plans and projects, providing guest speakers when necessary.

Currently, there are six active Neighbourhood Forums across the local government area.     Below is a questionnaire from Neighbourhood Forum 8, which covers the suburbs of Avon, Avondale, Brownsville, Cleveland, Dapto, Dombarton, Haywards Bay, Horsley, Huntley, Kanahooka, Kembla Grange, Koonawarra, Marshall Mount, Penrose, Wongawilli and Yallah.
