Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on LinkedinEmail this link
Consultation has concluded
The draft planning proposal seeks to facilitate a function centre and construction of tourist and visitor accommodation (subject to development consent) on Lot 1 DP 335557 by adding these land uses to the Schedule 1: Additional Permitted Uses in the Wollongong Local Environmental Plan 2009.
The draft planning proposal will retain the E3 Environmental Management zone of the larger lot being Lot 1 Lady Wakehurst Drive Lilyvale (Lot 1 DP 335557). The lot has an area of 1.233ha, a minimum lot size of 39.99ha and a maximum height of 9m. The proposed function centre would be limited to a maximum area of 400m2 and the tourist and visitor to a maximum area of 900m2 under the Schedule.
The proposal seeks to rezone the smaller lot being Lot 1 DP 652830, from SP2 infrastructure to E3 Environmental Management to maintain a consistent zone over the property. The smaller lot has a total area of 531.10m2. The proposal will also require an amendment to the minimum lot size from no mapped minimum lot size to 39.99ha and a maximum height from no mapped height to 9m.
