Consultation has concluded

As part of its commitment to managing flood and stormwater risks in our region, Wollongong City Council is working on a proposed concept design for the Ursula Road Flood Mitigation Scheme, located in the Whartons Creek catchment in Bulli.

Using the latest flood-modelling techniques, we have found that the deflection levee and culvert upgrade measures in the scheme have the most potential for keeping more floodwater in the creek system during storms. This would then reduce the amount of overflows onto Franklin Avenue and to the north along Ursula Road.

We’re working on a concept design for the Ursula Road Flood Mitigation Scheme and would like your input. Join us at the community information session, have a look at the investigation report and accompanying attachment, and share your feedback with the project team.

Feedback must be received by 5pm Wednesday 21 November, 2018.
