Consultation has concluded
Council is planning for a new community centre and library to be built in Warrawong at the corner of Greene and King Streets.
This new community facility will provide for the needs of the community who live in the south eastern suburbs of Berkeley, Lake Heights, Cringila, Warrawong, Port Kembla, Primbee and Windang.
In March and April 2019 we asked how it could be a welcoming and accessible place for all and what people would want to be able to do at the Community Centre and Library.
You can now read the Engagement Report to find out what people told us.
To learn more about the project and find background information, see the FAQs on the right of this page.
We will keep the community updated as we continue our planning via the News Feed below.
If you have any questions about the project send an email to: engagement@wollongong.nsw.gov.au
