Wollongong Development Control Plan 2009 Review - Chapter C17, Telecommunications and Radio Communications Facilities
Consultation has concluded
Council resolved on 19 April 2021 to place on public exhibition an updated draft Chapter C17 – Telecommunications and Radiocommunications Facilities of the Wollongong Development Control Plan (WDCP) 2009.
The purpose of this Chapter of the WDCP 2009 is to provide development controls applicable to the design, siting, construction, safety, security and environmental and public health impacts of telecommunications and radiocommunications facilities, including broadcasting infrastructure covered by the Commonwealth Telecommunications Act 1997 and the Commonwealth Radiocommunications Act 1992.
The exhibition period for this draft WDCP 2009 Chapter is 17 May to 16 June 2021. Copies of the suite of documents can be viewed at:
- Wollongong library and all branches during library hours;
- Council’s Customer Service Centre, Ground Floor Administration Building, 41 Burelli Street Wollongong on weekdays between 9am and 5pm;
