Consultation has concluded
We want to hear from young people in the Wollongong area, aged 12-17 about:
what and where you like to spend your free time.
how well our public recreation spaces are working for you.
what would make you use our local parks, playgrounds, and open spaces more.
Why we want to hear from you
Did you know that play is a right for all young people up to 18? It's crucial for your physical, mental, and social wellbeing. We manage hundreds of public recreation spaces - including big parks that might be a few suburbs away, small parks at the end of your street, playgrounds, public reserves, the Botanic Garden, skate parks, swimming pools, pump tracks, basketball courts, bike paths, sports fields, beaches, foreshores, and recreation grounds. These are your spaces too, so we want to hear from you to better respond to your needs.
Accessibility, mobility or language assistance If you’re d/Deaf, hard of hearing or have a speech or language difficulty, you can contact us through the National Relay Service. If you need an interpreter, you can contact us through the Translating and Interpreting Service on 131 450. You’ll need to provide our phone number 02 4227 7111 for either service.
