Consultation has concluded

Council is proposing to name the reserve adjacent to the corner of Waples Road and Coachwood Drive, Farmborough Heights, "Millingaa Park" - see the Location Map on the right for details.

Consistent with Council's Naming of Community Facilities and Parks Policy, the Illawarra Local Aboriginal Land Council was consulted for its advice and it recommended the name "Millingaa" - a local Aboriginal name for 'white cedars'.

Following Council's consideration of the comments from the community, the proposal will be forwarded to the Geographical Names Board for a final decision.
