Consultation has concluded

The community has told us we need to make our public space more accessible for everyone. We have listened and have identified eight Quick Link accessible path projects that will have a big impact on access and safety in playgrounds and parks around Wollongong. This means building continuous accessible paths of travel which link up facilities including car parks, playgrounds, picnic shelters and toilet blocks . We have some great projects happening this financial year with Quick Link projects at:

  • Holborn Park, Berkeley
  • Figtree Oval
  • King George V Park, Port Kembla
  • Port Kembla Pool
  • Lang Park, North Wollongong
  • Lakeside Park, Kanahooka
  • Thirroul Beach Reserve

To find out what is happening check the news-feed below for updates.

For more information about what the community has told us they want regarding accessibility, paths and play, take a look at our Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2016–2020, Pedestrian Plan 2017-2021, Play Wollongong Strategy 2014-2024 and Ageing Plan 2018-2022 under Document Library at the bottom right of this page.
