Consultation has concluded

We are working on a proposal to build on the existing shared pathway network along our coastline to link the Royal National Park to Lake Illawarra. The proposed path – dubbed the Grand Pacific Walk – will run parallel to the Grand Pacific Drive route, and will be a great asset for our community, linking suburbs in our north with those in our south. More information is available on the Grand Pacific Walk page on the Council website.

Council staff were out and about collecting ideas and opinions from the community earlier this year, and have since developed a Grand Pacific Walk draft Masterplan and Stage One Concept Plan. These plans are on exhibition from 25 November 2013 - 10 February 2014.

During this time there will be a number of opportunities for the community to discuss the plans with council staff and share their questions and comments. Read the Frequently Asked Questions, and then have your say on the Quickpoll, online Community Feedback Form and Discussion Forum.
