About the project

We’ve been working with the Kembla community and key stakeholders to develop a shared vision and plan for the future of Mount Kembla and Kembla Heights. We’ve heard lots of great ideas and used this information to create a draft vision, guiding principles, and proposed actions for the future of Kembla.

In September and October 2024, we checked in with the community to see if what we heard was reflected in the draft. We'll come back to the community in the coming months with a final draft for consideration.

This project is funded by Dendrobium Mine in partnership with Wollongong City Council.
