Be part of creating a shared vision for your community

We’ve been working with the Kembla community and key stakeholders to develop a shared vision and plan for the future of Mount Kembla and Kembla Heights. We’ve heard lots of great ideas and used this information to create a draft vision, guiding principles, and proposed actions for the future of Kembla. We’re now checking in with the community to make sure they reflect what we heard.

About the project

The Kembla Community Vision Plan is a project to bring together the different views, values and aspirations for the future of Mount Kembla and Kembla Heights areas. The Plan will outline guiding principles and suggested actions to achieve the community’s vision based on what they value. These actions will help inform decisions key stakeholders such as the mine owner/ operator and Council make in the area.

This project is funded by Dendrobium Mine in partnership with Wollongong City Council.
