Consultation has concluded

Council has undertaken a review of the sustainability provisions contained in the Wollongong Development Control Plan (DCP) 2009. The review is detailed in the Discussion Paper: Sustainability and the Wollongong DCP 2009. To implement the findings of the discussion paper, Council has resolved to exhibit the draft amendments to a number of existing DCP chapters, and prepare a new draft chapter, A2 Ecologically Sustainable Development.

We are now seeking your feedback about the draft amendments. Feedback and submissions are being sought until 8 July 2016.

DCP Chapters on exhibition:
Feedback may also be provided on the discussion paper during the exhibition period.

Note: within each chapter text highlighted yellow is proposed to be inserted into the DCP, while strikethrough text is proposed to be deleted.

Additional information in the Council Report and Council Minutes from 30 May 2016 is available to download from the Document Library to the right.
